We will meet at South Eugene track unless it is raining. If so we will meet at home base ( RMA ). The people who can't make it on Friday will be doing their achievement day tomorrow.

What One Camper Had to Say....

"This is our last week of bootcamp and I want to say that EVERYONE in the group has been incredible. What a sweet group of inspiring people I've had the privilege to work out with. I have never been a part of a fitness group before and I've discovered that there is power in numbers. There was never a competition between any of us...the competition was solely within ourselves. I experienced a surge of strength with the encouragement so graciously given by other team members and inspiration felt by watching others pushing themselves. I remember running the mile on achievement day, recently and struggled to keep my "RMA" up. I had to talk myself out of quitting but I saw Ronnie ahead of me and witnessed how hard he was working. Knowing that he was enduring the same physical challenge and continuing to move forward, gave me the strength to overcome my negative thoughts and finish. In my opinion, "RMA Bootcamp" has not been about faster running times or more push-ups in 1 minute...it's been about overcoming the negativity of the "I can't" and pushing upward to the "I can!". The results on achievement day are just the bonus...it's when you get to feel the joy of the "I did!"

Many of us had physical ailments that prevented participation in ALL of the activities but despite this, great effort was displayed by those doing the best they could with what they had to contend with. That shows CHARACTER. That is the epitome of "RMA"!

I can safely say that we all appreciate Boot Camp Instructor George! Kind and compassionate yet tough and professional. "Drop and give me 20" was sometimes harsh yet stemmed from George's obvious belief in each one of us to achieve beyond our own expectations. It wasn't about punishment it was about him KNOWING we could do it, even when we didn't think we could.

Just being able to move and breath is a gift. Being able to do that with an awesome group of people and to be led by a fantastic instructor has been an honor. Thank you all!!God Bless!"
